Earth Hour

這是由去年首度發起的澳洲雪梨想出來的活動
今年已經有全球共24個城市要一起響應這個活動了.
而紐西蘭的基督城也在這24個城市當中.
因為地理關係,基督城將是全球第一個響應此活動的城市!
再紐西蘭時間晚上八點到九點, 全基督城將鼓勵市民、公司 行號 一起來響應.
關掉所有需要電源的用品一個小時.
短短的60分鐘,可以省下百分之5的能源.

Turn out your lights, take your appliances off standby and head down to Cathedral Square to show your support for Earth Hour. Leave making a promise to take action – make it more than just an hour – believe that what you do today can make a difference for tomorrow.
